No-Bake Almond Butter Protein Balls

Ingredients:

– 1/2 cup gluten-free quick oats
– 1 scoop Verda Superfood in Chocolate Truffle
– 2/3 cup toasted coconut flakes
– 1/2 cup almond butter
– 1/4 cup ground flax seed
– 1/2 cup dairy free chocolate chips or cacao nibs (optional)
– 1/3 cup honey*
– 1 tablespoon chia seeds (optional)
– 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

*vegans may use agave nectar but agave should otherwise be avoided.

Directions:

1. Stir together dry ingredients.
2. Mix in wet ingredients and blend well.
3. Use a cookie scoop or a spoon to form into balls.
4. Chill in the fridge for at least 1 hour before eating.
